Sandbanks is a small sandy peninsula with some of the most expensive houses in the UK, the beach is probably one of the best in the country and has been awarded the Blue Flag more times than any other beach in the UK.
Facilities include a new play area for children, water sports hire and a crazy golf course.

At the end of the peninsula is the Sandbanks passenger and car ferry that makes the short trip across the mouth of Poole harbour to Isle of Purbeck and the Studland beaches.
Bus: The number 50 Wilts&Dorset from Bournemouth Station to Swanage stops near to the beach (generally every half hour in the summer).
Parking: There is a car park next to the beach that holds 550 cars, 5 for disabled use. Postcode BH13 7QJ
