A shared cycle and pedestrian level footpath along the shoreline takes you westbound to Poole Park in 10 minutes and eastbound towards Poole Quay and Poole Town Centre also about 10 minutes walk.

The award winning beaches of Sandbanks are a short drive away. Other beaches like Hamworthy and Arne are further into the harbour and perhaps a little more private.

There are several ferries which leave from Poole Quay to Isle of Wight, Swanage, Brownsea Island and Harbour tours.

The cross channel ferries terminal to the Channel Islands and France is at the far end of Poole Quay.
